Heading Eastward out of the mountains, we stopped in a little touristy town called Winthrop for some Ice Cream.

And on to Idaho where we found a nice little campground – Albeni Cove. Great huge showers! Right on the river, walk in sites for canoers and kayakers. Would be a great place for people with Boats – swimming beach.


Stopped to meet a cool old jesus freak hippie dude who traveled the country in a school bus with SEVEN kids selling tie dyes. Oh.. and TONS of tie dyes if you’re interested .. 🙂

Then on to Kootenay Falls the next day for a short scenic hike to a raging river in some otherwise dry country.
