Dueling Elk
The Elk in Boxley Valley are a big tourist attraction for Newton County. In the summer and during rut there photographers line the valley looking for the perfect shot. This painting was done for our annual Newton County Elk Festival, when Elk permits are drawn, and artists, crafters, musicians, and food vendors gather for a weekend of festivities celebrating the return of Elk to this part of the country.
The Original Framed 11×14 Acrylic Painting on canvas is in a private collection. A limited number of 8×10 prints are available, matted to 11×14 with or without a frame.
